PPL Trainee Engineer Jobs NTS Test Schedule

On-job Training Opportunity as Special Trainee Engineer/ Diploma Holder
on 2-year contract

Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) is a key player in the hydrocarbon sector for over six decades with consistent track record in youth development, especially for communities residing around its
producing fields. As part of the company’s commitment for capacity building of skilled youth, PPL is pleased to offer an on-job training opportunity through a 2-year contract to young engineers and
diploma holders who are domiciled residents of districts Dera Bugti,Kandhkot/ Kashmore, Matiari, Kamber Shahdadkot and Sanghar.Applicants meeting the standard eligibility criteria defined below may
appear for a written test to be conducted by National Testing Service (NTS) in Karachi and Quetta on Sunday, April 3, 2016:

Eligibility Criteria
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Petroleum, Mechanical,Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, etc. recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council
• 3-year Diploma in Associate Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical,Civil, Electronics, etc recognized by Technical or Secondary Board of Education
• Only domiciled residents of the above districts are eligible to apply

How to Apply
Candidates meeting the above criteria may register themselves with NTS  through their website www.nts.org.pk between February 19 and March 14,2016 by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 750 to NTS.NTS test score of the last 12 months from the date of advertisement will also remain valid. However, candidates may take the test again to improve their score. The higher test score will be treated as final.
Candidates securing the minimum required NTS score will be selected on merit on the basis of number of available positions. Applications sent directly to PPL in contravention of prescribed procedure will
not be entertained.
The 2-year on-job training programme does not constitute an employer-employee
relationship and there is no obligation on the company to offer regular employment
to Special Trainee Engineers/ Diploma Holders on completion of the contract period.
