HEALTH DEPARTMENT

SR. NO. 153.     (CASE NO.182-RC/2012) RECRUITMENT TO 02 (TWO) REGULAR POSTS OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY.

QUALIFICATION:        

a)         i)          MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and the postgraduate qualification of FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty recognized by PMDC.      OR

            ii)          MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by   Pakistan Medical and Dental council (PMDC) and the postgraduate qualification of FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery / Medicine) or any other equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PMDC with 03 years practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post graduation.

b)                     Five years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor or equivalent position recognized by PMDC with atleast 03 research papers published in a standard medical journal.

PAY:                 BS-19

AGE:                30 to 50 years on 22-10-2012.

A set of Photocopy of following documents will be required to submit alongwith hard copy of Online Application Form within 07-days after the closing date:-

a)         Original Treasury Receipt of fee deposited.

b)         Matriculation Certificate, showing date of birth and in case of ‘O’ Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad and date of birth given in school leaving certificate.

c)         Intermediate Certificate / ‘A’ level along with certificate of equivalent qualification.

d)         Degree and Detailed Marks of MBBS (1st to final profs.) duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentages + Postgraduate Degree / DMC in the subject.

e)         Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.

f)          In case of Government Servant, Departmental Permission Certificate (available on PPSC website) duly signed/stamped by the competent authority of concerned Department.

g)         Experience Certificate (Specimen available on web site) issued from competent authority.

h)         Valid C.N.I.C.

i)          Disability certificate, if “Yes” in Column 20 of Online Application Form has been ticked.

j)          Passport size photograph.

k)         Foreign qualification(s) must be recognized by PMDC.

l)          Valid PMDC registration certificate showing all medical degrees / postgraduate qualifications therein.

m)        04-sets of photocopies of research work published in a standard medical journal recognized by PMDC.

Important Note: Only eligible candidates will be called for interview provisionally after detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates. If any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his/her application will be rejected. To avoid frustration, candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirement of the rules and selection criteria as advertised relating to the post before closing date.

SR. NO. 154.     (CASE NO.102-RC/2012) RECRUITMENT TO 04 (FOUR) REGULAR POSTS OF CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST.
QUALIFICATION:          M.Sc Psychology (2nd division) as M.Sc Applied Psychology (2nd division) with Clinical Psychology as one of the Subjects / Specialized field and one year’s advance diploma in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institute or other equivalent diploma in Clinical Psychology recognized by U.G.C / HEC.

PAY:                 BS-17

AGE:                21 to 35 + 05 years general age relaxation in upper age limit for Male candidates = 40 years on 22-10-2012   and    

                        21 to 35 + 08 years general age relaxation in upper age limit for Female Candidates = 42 years on 22-10-2012.

QUALIFICATION:          M.Sc Urban Planning OR Transport Planning OR Transport Engineering (2nd Division) from a recognized university having 03 years experience in Transport Planning.          OR

B.Sc Transport Engineering in (2nd Division) from a recognized University having 05 years experience in Transport Planning.

AGE:                25 to 40 + 05 years general relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No.SOR (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012 = 45 years on 22-10-2012.

SR. NO. 158.     (CASE NO.21-RF/2012) RECRUITMENT TO 01 (ONE) POST OF TRANSPORT PLANNING OFFICER ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR THE PERIOD OF 05 YEARS ON  ALL PUNJAB BASIS.
QUALIFICATION:          B.Sc Transport Engineering (2nd Division) from a recognized University.

PAY:                 BS-17

AGE:                21 to30 + 05 years general relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No.SOR (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012 =35 years on 22-10-2012.

DOMICILE:       Punjab.

GENDER:          Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab.

IMPORTANT NOTE  (For Sr. No. 154 to 158 only)

i)          In case a large number of applications are received, one    paper MCQ type written test of 100 marks relating to prescribed qualification and job description of the post will be conducted to shortlist the candidates. Details will be given on PPSC website from where candidates can download their roll numbers and information about date, time and venues. No candidate will be informed about the date of Written Test / Interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service Commission Office or visit the Commission's Website www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.



ii)          For all those posts where written test is to be held, it will most likely be held after two weeks of closing date.



iii)         Candidates will be admitted to the written test (if held) provisionally. On detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates declared successful in written test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his/her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he/she appeared in the written test or qualified therein. To avoid frustration, candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules and selection criteria as advertised relating to the post before the closing date.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1.         Applicants are required to submit ONLINE  Application Forms by the closing date which is 22-10-2012 upto 3:00 pm. Candidates should fill the ON-LINE Form carefully for which detailed Guidelines and Instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission's website: www.ppsc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till 3:00 p.m. (Office closing time) of last date of submission of online applications.

2.         Original Treasury receipt of Rs.300/- for Sr. No. 153, Rs:400/- for Sr. No. 154, 155, 156, 157 & 158  under head: “C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION       FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”, will be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury and receipt number will be mentioned             in the Online application form. Original receipt will be produced at the time of written test, interview / viva voce without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the test, interview / viva voce. Original receipt will be retained by PPSC staff, for record purposes.

3.         HARD COPY of ON-LINE Application Form is not needed.(For Sr. No. 154 to 158).

4.         Correspondence with candidates will be done through e-mail. Candidates are advised to mention their e-mail addresses in the ON-LINE Application Form. Those who do      not have e-mail addresses are advised to create e-mail account immediately.

5.         Schedule of interviews/viva voce for the said posts will be uploaded on the Commission's website from where candidates can download their Call-up-letter and information about date, time and venue of interview. No candidate will be informed about the date of interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service commission office or visit the Commission's Website www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.

6.         The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the competent authority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in case when selection is made only on the basis of viva voce/interview, before a date for viva voce/ interview has been fixed.

7.         Candidates presently living/residing abroad and having Punjab Domicile may also apply.

8.         In case of disabled person, Column 20 of Online Application Form should be filled in mentioning “Yes” or “No”. If the candidate is disabled, he/she will have to submit a certificate from Provincial Council for rehabilitation of disabled persons of Social Welfare Department.

9.         Following documents in original along with a set of photocopy will be required, if called for interview/viva voce:

            a)         Treasury receipt of fee deposited, or (photocopy; in case original handed over to PPSC Staff at the time of written test).

            b)         Matriculation Certificate, showing date of birth and in case of 'O' Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad and date of birth given in school leaving certificate.

            c)         Intermediate Certificate/ 'A' level along with certificate of equivalent qualification.

            d)         Degrees / Detailed marks of  Bachelor’s degree, M.Sc Psychology / M.Sc  Applied Psychology / Advance Diploma in Clinical Psychology duly issued by Controller of Examination showing subjects & total / obtained marks and percentages. (For Sr. No. 154)

            e)         Degree / Detailed marks of Bachelor’s degree and Senior diploma in Physical Education duly issued by Controller of Examination showing total / obtained marks and percentages. (For Sr. No. 155)

            f)          Degree / Detailed marks of B.Sc Transport Engineering duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentages. (Sr. # 156, 157 &158)

            g)         Degree / Detailed marks of M.Sc Urban Planning or Transport Planning or Transport Engineering duly issued by Controller of examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentages. (For Sr.  # 156)

            h)         Certificate of 03 years experience from Appointing Authority in Transport Planning in case of M.Sc Urban Planning or Transport Planning or Transport Engineering and 05 years experience in Transport Planning in case of B.Sc Transport Engineering.(For Sr. No. 156).

            i)          Degree / Detailed marks of M.Sc Transport Planning or Transport Engineering (2nd Division) issued by Controller of examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentage.

            j)          Certificate of 08 years experience from Appointing Authority in Transport Sector. (For Sr. No. 157).

            k)         Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.
